Rooted Grove Collective is a mixed-age learning community where children grow through play, relationships, exploration, and meaningful experiences in the natural world.
Our days are filled with long stretches of child-directed play, building and creating, stories and conversation, hands-on problem-solving, and opportunities to notice, investigate, and better understand the living world around us.
Rather than separating learning into subjects, we create an environment where literacy, math, science, creativity, social skills, and independence naturally develop through real experiences and genuine curiosity.
With experienced facilitators and engaged families, children have the time and space to develop confidence, independence, strong relationships, and a sense of belonging — while becoming more deeply connected to themselves, one another, and the world around them.

Through mixed-age community, child-led exploration, stories and conversation, hands-on problem-solving, creative work, and time outdoors, children build confidence, independence, strong relationships, and the foundations for lifelong learning.
We intentionally create an environment where literacy, math, science, imagination, social development, and practical skills can grow naturally through real experiences rather than being separated from everyday life.
Our community also supports families by creating space for connection, belonging, and breathing room — because when children and the adults who care for them feel supported, everyone has more room to grow.
